10. Hestad chapel
From Vik, you can cross the fjord to Dragsvik and take highway 13, a National Tourist Route, over the Gaularfjell mountain pass. At Viksdalen, turn off towards Sande and drive on along lake Viksdalsvatn.
Hestad chapel
On a narrow tongue of land between the lake and Hestadfjord lies Hestad chapel, in the midst of a protected natural area. The chapel was built 200 years ago, partly from the recycled timbers of an earlier stave church on this site. Read more here.
